3 Suspects Arrested For Murder Of Palmdale Man Found Dead In Roseville

PALMDALE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say three people have been arrested for the murder of a Palmdale man found dead last year in Roseville.

John Alpert, 19, was found bludgeoned to death last May near a creek bed.

His family said Alpert left his home to travel with a group of freight train riders in March.

After several days, Alpert's family said they stopped hearing from him.

Officials announced the arrests of three suspects, all said to be experienced freight train riders.

The suspects were identified as Laura Lee Kenner, 30; Jules Clifford Carrillo, 21 and Edward Taylor Anauo, 23.

The three are all being held without bail on suspicion of homicide.
