3 Struck By Gunfire In Palms Shooting

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Saturday said a shooting in Palms left three people injured, including one in serious condition.

Los Angeles police Sgt. Carlton Jeter told City News Service that the incident occurred at the intersection of Venice Boulevard and Bagley Avenue about 8:40 p.m. Friday.

He described two of the victims as female, and said one had been shot in the head. All three were hospitalized.

Jeter reportedly also told the wire service that there were five suspects, one of which was believed to have fired from a silver sedan.
