3 People Shot In San Pedro Drive-By

SAN PEDRO (CBSLA.com)  —  Authorities said three people were shot Sunday in a drive-by in San Pedro.

Police said none of the injuries appears to be life-threatening.

The victims -- two women and a man all in their 20s -- suffered leg wounds in the attack. All were taken to a nearby hospital.

Authorities said the shooting took place Sunday afternoon near the intersection of West First and North Beacon Streets.

The shooter was a passenger riding in a gray four-door, late-model Toyota Sedan traveling on West First Street, according to LAPD Sgt. Michael Morales.

The passenger stepped out of the car with his gun and shot the victims from about 30 feet away, Morales said.

Police are searching for two suspects, described only as Latinos.
