LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Millions of boxes of Girl Scout cookies are expected to arrive to the City of Angels this weekend.

Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles said in a written statement that nearly 3 million cookie boxes will arrive Saturday with sales initiating Feb. 1.

According to the agency, seven kinds of cookies are being offered at $5 a box. They include: Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Trefoils, Do-si-Dos, Savannah Smiles and Rah-Rah Raisin.

Toffee-tastic, a gluten-free cookie, will also be offered for sale at $6 per box but in extremely limited quantities.

"This year, Girl Scouts are using a direct sale model for the whole season, meaning girls will have cookies in-hand from the start," the statement said.

Storefront sales of the cookies will begin Feb. 13. Click here for more information.
