3 Men Get Life Without Parole For Pasadena Gang Murder

PASADENA (AP) — Three men have been sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole for the gang-related murder of a man in Pasadena in 2013.

The Los Angeles County district attorney's office says 38-year-old Peter Parra of Pasadena, 27-year-old Kevin Jessie Cabrera of North Hollywood and 26-year-old Raymond Frank Conchas of Covina were sentenced Wednesday. Each also was given an additional 25 years to life.

Prosecutors say trial evidence showed victim Zane Goldstein agreed to meet them in an alley for a drug deal but they tried to rob him and then shot him in the head as he tried to flee.

A fourth man, 21-year-old John Michael Piepoli of Pasadena, was earlier sentenced to life without possibility of parole after also being convicted of murder. Another man awaits trial.
