2 Dead In Willowbrook Car Crash

WILLOWBROOK (CBSLA.com) — A two-car crash on Friday afternoon in Willowbrook took the life of two victims, while two other victims were recovering from injuries.

The cars, a silver Jaguar and a black Kia Sorrento SUV, collided at the corner of South Central Avenue and El Segundo Boulevard at about 5:30 p.m. The crash took place when the driver of the silver Jaguar turned left from Central Avenue onto El Segundo Boulevard, into the path of the SUV, which was driven by Martin Limones, 20, of Lynwood, according to the California Highway Patrol.

An 82 year old woman who was the passenger in the Jaguar was pronounced dead at the scene early Friday evening. The 84 year old driver of the Jaguar was transported to a hospital and died about four hours later. Two other victims were transported to a hospital by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
