3 Burglary Suspects Detained Following Police Search In Beverly Hills

BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Three burglary suspects have been detained by Beverly Hills police following a more than two-hour search Tuesday.

The search began around 3:45 p.m. on Rexford Drive and Sunset Avenue.

A police spokesperson told CBS2/KCAL9 a witness saw the suspects and believed they may have been involved in a burglary that occurred in Los Angeles.

Officers began following the suspect vehicle. Three occupants stopped and fled on foot, according to Beverly Hills PD.

Police set up a perimeter in the area of Sunset/Rexford and Lexington/Rexford.

The suspects were detained by authorities around 6:15 p.m. and were expected to be turned over to LAPD.
