3 Brothers Attack, Stab Each Other In Garden Grove

GARDEN GROVE (CBSLA.com) — A knife fight erupted among three brothers in Garden Grove early Thursday morning, and one of them was in critical condition, police said.

Police went to the 12900 block of Dale Street about 2:20 a.m. on a report of a family fight, Garden Grove police Lt. Bob Bogue said.

"Officers arrived on scene and foun d the three male brothers with multiple stab wounds to their hands, chest, and back of head," Bogue said.

Two were taken to one hospital, and the third was taken to a separate hospital.

"All three brothers were treated for their stab wounds," Bogue said. "However, one of the brothers was put into an induced coma due to the amount of blood loss. It appears to be a family argument that started the fight."

The brothers are of "Arabic descent" and "there is a language barrier that is slowing the investigation," Bogue said.

Their names were not released.
