3 Arrested In Corona On Supicion Of Burglary, Assault

NORCO (CBSLA.com) — Three Corona residents were arrested early Saturday in connection with a home invasion robbery that occurred at a Norco home.

Sheriff's deputies on Wednesday went to the 4000 block of Pedley Avenue, where two men and a woman had allegedly forced their way into the home, leaving one man with moderate injuries, according to a sheriff's spokeswoman.

Three additional people in the home reportedly suffered minor injuries, according to Riverside County Sheriff's  Sgt. Brandi Swam.

Throughout a follow-up investigation, tipsters lead sheriff's detectives to a home in Elegante Court in Corona on Friday.

The suspects, Abel Soto, a 20-year-old probationer, Ashley Chaney, 19, and Stevie Rae Andrew Pena, 21, were all arrested for suspicion of burglary, assault causing great bodily injury as well as a number of other violations.

Pena also reportedly had four no-bail felony warrants for vehicle theft and drug violations.
