3.3-Magnitude Quake Reported Near Joshua Tree

JOSHUA TREE (CBSLA.com) — A 3.3-magnitide quake was reported south of Joshua Tree, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The minor quake struck at 1:16 p.m. Sunday but there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

The temblor was centered about 7 miles south of Joshua Tree and 8 miles southeast of Yucca Valley.

No other details were immediately available.
