3.3-Magnitude Quake Hits San Pedro Area

SAN PEDRO (CBSLA.com/AP) — A Magnitude 3.3 earthquake reportedly rattled the San Pedro area Sunday night.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the temblor struck at 7:50 p.m. and was centered about 5 miles southwest of San Pedro and 6 miles southeast of Rancho Palos Verdes.

A Los Angeles police officer in San Pedro said there have been no reports of damages.

The quake was felt in Long Beach, San Pedro and other locations in the South Bay area.
