29-Year-Old Homeless Man Fatally Shot In Inglewood

INGLEWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Officials in Inglewood say a 29-year-old homeless man was shot and killed Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to the report of a shooting about 9:10 a.m. in the 700 block of South Ash Avenue.

Inglewood Police Sgt. Jose Fernandez said the male victim was unresponsive and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim, now identified as Abel Moses Anchondo, was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Witnesses reported hearing several gunshots and seeing a suspect running from the area.
