Hit-And-Run Driver Kills 28-Year-Old Man Walking In Rialto

RIALTO (CBSLA.com) — Officials say a 28-year-old pedestrian was killed Friday night by a hit-and-run driver in Rialto.

Michael Anthony Zamora, of Hacienda Heights, was struck around 10 p.m. by a motorist heading eastbound on Foothill Boulevard, just east of Cedar Avenue, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.

The victim was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:39 p.m.

The suspect was driving a light blue Chrysler 300, Rialto police Sgt. David Shephard said.
