2,700 Marijuana Plants Found Growing In Compton Warehouse

COMPTON (CBSLA.com) — Authorities seized about 2,700 marijuana plants being illegally grown in a warehouse near Compton.

Investigators served a warrant at the building in the 200 block of West 134th Street about 7:30 a.m., according to the sheriff's department.

 

The plants had an estimated street sale value of $6.1 million, sheriff's officials said.

Two people were arrested. Their names were not immediately released.
