2 Wounded In Early Morning Shooting In Burbank

BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — A suspect was in custody after two people were wounded in an early morning shooting in Burbank, authorities said.

The shooting took place in the area of San Fernando and Magnolia boulevards, and was reported just before 1:30 a.m., according to a Verdugo Fire Communications dispatcher, who said the condition of the wounded victims was unknown. One was taken to LAC+USC Medical Center and the other to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank.

Burbank police Sgt. Chris Canales told City News Service that the shooting was possibly gang-related, and a suspect has been arrested.

No additional information was immediately available.
