2 Suspects Sought In Connection With Attempted Murder Of Lake Elsinore Man

LAKE ELSINORE (CBSLA.com) — Deputies Friday sought the public's help to locate two attempted murder suspects.

Around 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 30, 2014, deputies were sent to the 32000 block of Edmond Street in the Community of Good Hope for report of a shooting.

Upon their arrival, authorities located an adult man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The following day, Judy Avalos, 20, of Menifee, was arrested for conspiracy to commit murder. She is being held at the Robert Presley Detention Center on $1 million.

Further investigation revealed four additional suspects were related to the shooting.

On Jan. 22, deputies arrested Anthony Reyes, 19, of Jurupa Valley, in the City of Rowland Heights for conspiracy to commit murder.

Carlos Ortiz, 21, of Jurupa Valley, was then arrested on March 11 in the City of Riverside for conspiracy to commit murder.

Both Reyes and Ortiz are being held on $1 million at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility.

Deputies said Pedro Gomez, 25, and Aaron Ulises Correa Rodriguez, of Jurupa Valley, are wanted for conspiracy to commit murder in connection to this case.
