2 Seriously Injured In Motorcycle Crash On PCH In Pacific Palisades

PACIFIC PALISADES (CBSLA.com) — Fire officials briefly closed northbound lanes of the Pacific Coast Highway Sunday following a traffic collision that left two people hospitalized in serious condition.

The crash occurred in the 17600 block of PCH around 11:30 a.m., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson Brian Humphrey.

One male and one female, believed to be riding on a motorcycle, were transported to an area hospital in serious condition.

One male and one female traveling in a car were released at the scene, Humphrey said.

All northbound lanes were closed during the initial on-scene investigation. At least northbound one lane was open by 12:30 p.m., according to the LAFD.

One southbound lane was temporarily closed but re-opened around 12 p.m.

Fire officials expect all northbound lanes to re-open shortly.
