2 Serious Accidents Reported Minutes Apart On PCH In Malibu

MALIBU (CBSLA.com) —    Two serious accidents have been reported on the PCH in Malibu Sunday.

Gordon Spencer, reporting in Sky2, said the unrelated accidents occurred within minutes -- and within 100 yards -- of each other.

Just before 4 p.m., a solo motorcycle accident occurred at Topanga Canyon and PCH.

The second accident involved a bicyclist hit by a vehicle at PCH and Topanga.

Both patients were treated on scene by ambulance and then loaded onto a helicopter to be taken to a hospital.

The conditions of both patients is unknown.

The cause of both accidents are also unknown.

The accidents caused heavy back-ups in the area.
