2 People Stabbed Near Campus Of CSUF Frat House

FULLERTON (CBSLA.com)  —  Two people were stabbed early Sunday morning near the campus of California State University, Fullerton.

Police said the stabbings happened around 12:30 a.m. in the 2100 block of Tori Place, just blocks from the campus and on fraternity row.

Monday is the start of the fall semester.

Authorities described the victims as receiving minor, non-life threatening wounds.

The stabbing reportedly occurred in the alley behind a frat house. Kastner spoke to one of the frat's members, who only said it was "a delicate situation."

There was reportedly a party going on at the time of the incident.

The two victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Late Sunday, police said they didn't believe the victims were students.

The incident is still scary for nearby residents.

"It's sad, it's scary, it's too close to home," said Sarah Moreno, "too close to home. That's why we keep our doors locked."

No suspects were in custody, police said.
