2 dead after shooting at Long Beach homeless encampment

Long Beach police detained multiple people after a deadly shooting at a homeless encampment Wednesday night. 

It happened near the northbound 710 Freeway, close to Del Amo Boulevard. At least two people were found dead at the scene. 

The California Highway Patrol said the shooting did not impact traffic.
