2 Naval Fighter Jets Land At Bob Hope Airport In Burbank
BURBANK (CBSLA.com) —Two Navy fighter jets from Virginia made an unscheduled landing at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank Friday night, according to the airport's operations supervisor.
The F-18 Hornets were conducting some kind of routine training exercise when they touched down around 9:30 p.m.
The non-emergency landing startled some nearby residents who complained about a loud noise.

The jets are expected to take off some time on Sunday.
@fly_BUR Have lived in Burbank for years and never heard such a frightening sound. Like a plane was going to crash into our home tonight.
