3 Men Wounded In 2 North Hollywood Shootings

NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Three men were injured Wednesday in two North Hollywood shootings.

Two of the victims were hurt in a shooting in the 12000 block of Sherman Way, which was reported at 1:51 p.m.

The men, who were believed to be in their 50s, were being transported to a local hospital, according to Sky9's Stu Mundel.

A third victim was found at Keswick Street and Laurel Canyon Boulevard, according to officials.

Authorities later found one of two men in a BMW wounded.

"Officers determined the two shootings were connected and believe the two men in the car were the primary shooters," Los Angeles police Officer Nuria Vanegas said.

The suspect who was hurt was taken to a hospital. The other man was taken into custody.

A gun was discovered in the BMV, Vanegas said.
