2 Men Injured In Car-To-Car Shooting On 110 Freeway

GARDENA (CBSLA.com) — Police Friday were searching for at least one gunman who opened fire on the 110 Freeway in Gardena, striking two men in another vehicle.

California Highway Patrol found the victims around 9:25 p.m. Thursday on the northbound side of the freeway south of Redondo Beach Boulevard, the LAPD reports.

Northbound traffic on the freeway was stopped just south of the 91 Freeway as LAPD and CHP officers searched the lanes for evidence.

The victims were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. One had to undergo surgery.

The back window of a third victim's vehicle was shot out while driving on the southbound side of the freeway.

A motive for the shooting was unclear and no suspect information was released.

No arrests have been made.
