2 Men In Critical Condition After Explosive House Fire

SUN VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Two men are in the hospital with second and third degree burns after a house fire in Sun Valley erupted after an explosion.

Neighbors say they saw the 38 and 20-year-old men running around on fire screaming for help.

"They were runnning as they were on fire cuz they were taking their clothes off cuz they were on fire it was insane," Matt Manookian.

firefighters say both men had burns on half their bodies. The explosion and fire destroyed the home's garage and attic and also took down wires from nearby power poles.
investigators did not go into detail about the cause of the explosion, but neighbors have their own suspicions.

"The smell in the air was terrible, and his hands were on fire it seems like he was doing something and that's what happened, you know what i mean? it's crazy.

Investigators are not releasing the cause of the explosion but they say there is no threat of another explosion happening
