2 Men Found Shot To Death Execution-Style In Montclair While Police Search For 3rd Victim, Suspects

MONTCLAIR (CBSLA.com) —  Police in Montclair said two men were found dead -- with their mouths duct taped and shot execution-style -- in a garage Sunday evening.

Police were dispatched to the 11000 block of Monte Vista Avenue around 6:45 p.m. in response to a shots fired call.

Both of the deceased are Latinos in their 30s, police said.

Authorities said witnesses saw a possible third victim running from the scene with his hands tied behind his back. That man also reportedly had duct tape covering his mouth. Some witnesses also said the man had lacerations to his neck.

Police have not located the suspects or the third victim.

A preliminary investigation has not revealed a motive or if the crime was gang-related or a robbery.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Montclair Police Department (909) 621-4771.
