2 Killed, 5 Injured In Shooting Outside San Bernardino Nightclub

SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — Two people were killed and five others injured in an overnight shooting at a San Bernardino nightclub.

The shooting, which police believe was gang related, took place just after 1:45 a.m. Wednesday outside of Stingers Bar and Nightclub, 194 Club Center Dr., according to officials.

San Bernardino police say about 20 to 30 rounds were fired outside of the club where about 200 people were gathered.

A total of seven people were struck — two men were killed, two other people were in critical condition. The conditions of the other three victims were unknown.

Around 7 a.m., officers responded to the report of a disturbance at the emergency room of Loma Linda Hospital where one of the victims died. Allegedly family and friends of the victim became "uncooperative and combative with hospital staff." No injuries were reported in that incident.

Another shooting that took place at an Arco station near the nightclub was being investigated and believed to be connected.
