2 Kids, 5 Others Injured In Reseda Head-On Collision

RESEDA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say seven people were injured in a head-on collision in Reseda on Friday night.

The two-car crash occurred at the intersection of Sherman Way and Tampa Avenue about 10:50 p.m.

Los Angeles police Lt. Mark Ferry told City News Service that two children, ages 5 and 10, received treatment after complaining of pain.

The other injuries ranged from critical to minor, according to Sky2's Stu Mundel.

Ferry said the crash occurred after one of the vehicles failed to stop at a red light.

No further information was available.
