Rollover Collision Injures 2 In Manhattan Beach

MANHATTAN BEACH (CBSLA.COM) — Police Tuesday investigated the circumstances surrounding a rollover traffic collision that injured two people.

Officers were sent shortly before 11 p.m. on Monday to the 400 block of Rosecrans Boulevard at Alma Avenue for report of a rollover traffic collision, according to the Manhattan Beach Police Department.

Upon their arrival, paramedics transported two adult male victims to a hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.

Officers added two other victims, both females, who traveled in the vehicle at the time of the incident walked away from the scene. They did not sustain injuries in the collision.

According to police, Loriana Caltane Rainey, 24, of L.A., was arrested for driving under the influence, being an unlicensed driver and several warrants. She was booked at the Manhattan Beach Jail.

Authorities subsequently shut down Rosecrans Avenue at Bayview Drive. Around 6:30 a.m., officials reopened the area to commuters in both directions.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
