2 Injured, 1 Critically In Riverside Car-To-Car Shootings

RIVERSIDE (AP) — Police say two men were injured, one critically, in an exchange of gunfire between two cars in Riverside.

Investigators say the car-to-car shooting before dawn Saturday followed some kind of altercation between at least three people.

Police Officer Ryan Railsback says the driver of a red sedan was shot in the head before the car veered off the road and struck a sign. He was hospitalized in grave condition.

Railsback says a passenger in a silver sedan suffered a gunshot wound to his upper arm. That victim was hospitalized and released and was being interviewed along with the driver of the silver sedan.

Officials say all three involved were in their 20s.
