2 Horses Die At Los Alamitos Race Track In Cypress

CYPRESS (CBSLA) — Two horses died Saturday at Los Alamitos racetrack in Cypress.

According to one website, horseracingwrongs.org, 3-year-old Radio Tim died during the first race, while 4-year-old Street Machine couldn't make it through the fourth race.

This brings the total to seven horses that have died during the current race season at Los Alamitos.

Horse racing has been under scrutiny as 45 horses died at the Santa Anita race track since December 2018.
