2 Local Schools, College Closed Due To Heavy Rains, Threat Of Mudslides

GLENDORA (CBSLA.com) – Two schools in Glendora were closed Friday due to heavy rains and the threat of mudslides.

Classes were cancelled at St. Lucy's Priory High School, 859 E. Sierra Madre Ave., and Goddard Middle School, 655 W. Sierra Madre Ave.

The schools are near burn-area that was charred by the Colby Fire in January.

Pasadena City College was also scheduled to close by 12 p.m. Friday.

No other closures have been announced.
