2 Firefighters Injured While Battling Studio City House Fire

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Two firefighters were hurt Monday while battling a blaze that damaged a hillside house in Studio City.

The fire in the two-story home in the 3800 block of North Buena Park Drive was reported about 1:15 p.m., said the Los Angeles Fire Department's Katherine Main. Fort-six firefighters got control of the fire within 37 minutes.

The cause of the blaze, which apparently began in the attic, is under investigation.

The firefighters' injuries did not appear to be life threatening.

A damage estimate was not immediately available.
