2 Earthquakes Hit Off Coast Of Catalina

SAN CLEMENTE (CBSLA.com) — Back-to-back earthquakes struck early Monday morning off the coast of Catalina.

The first shallow shaker hit at 12:40 a.m. and registered a magnitude-3.5, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The second earthquake hit two minutes later and measured a magnitude-4.1.

There were no reports of damage or injuries on Catalina or in coastal cities.
