2 Dead In Motorcycle Vs SUV Crash In Riverside

RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com)  —   Authorities said two people are dead in a collision between a motorcyclist, his passenger and a SUV driver in Riverside.

The crash occurred just before 4:15 p.m. at Columbia Avenue and Kearney Street, officials said.

When officials arrived on scene they found a 54-year-old male motorcyclist and his 58-year-old female passenger with grave injuries.

Witnesses said a 61-year-old woman was in the #1 lane stopped in her black SUV and waiting to make a left onto Kearney Street with her signal on. She began turning left when the motorcyclist and his passenger crashed into the left front of the SUV.

The motorcyclist and his passenger were ejected.

The Riverside Police Departments Major Accident Investigation Team responded and is currently handling the investigation.
