The three other victims, also all males, were rushed to hospitals for treatment, one of which is said to be in critical condition. The others are believed to have wounds that are not life-threatening, investigators said.

On Sunday, Inglewood Mayor James Butts spoke with KCAL News about the shooting, which he says was planned.

"A group of suspects came up, after parking, on foot and ambushed them on foot from multi directions," he said. "It was planned, they were targeted."

Authorities are reviewing surveillance camera footage from nearby businesses in hopes of learning more about the shooting.

No suspect information was available as the investigation continued.

It was still unclear whether the shooting was believed to be gang-related.

Multiple cars could be seen riddled with bullet holes and broken windshields with SkyCal overhead on Saturday.
