2 Dead, 2 Injured In East Hollywood Shooting

EAST HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Two people were shot to death and two others were injured in East Hollywood Friday night, Los Angeles police said.

The shooting happened at 555 Heliotrope Drive near the 101 Freeway and Melrose Avenue about 7:50 p.m.

Police said one or more persons walked up and started shooting at a home where a group of young people were gathering. Officers were going door-to-door to get information on a motive and the LAPD Gang Unit was investigating.
