2 Critically Injured, 1 Motorist Held After La Cienega Crash

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Two people were critically injured, and one motorist was in custody after an early morning three-vehicle crash on La Cienega Boulevard near Beverly Hills, authorities said.

Los Angeles police told City News Service that someone involved in the crash was in custody, but did not provide further details. Four people sustained minor injuries in the crash in the 1000 block of South La Cienega Boulevard, and at least one vehicle overturned.

The crash was reported just after 4 a.m., according to Eric Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

No other details were immediately available.
