2 Critical, 2 Hurt In Irvine Crash

IRVINE (CBSLA.com) —  Four people were injured, two critically, in a tw0-vehicle crash in Irvine Thursday afternoon.

Officials said all four injured were transported to a nearby hospital.

The crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. at Alton Parkway and Red Hill in Irvine, near the 55 Freeway, reported Kevin Takumi in Sky2.

Takumi said the Irvine Police Department and the Orange County Fire Department both responded to the scene.

Traffic was also backed up in the area, Takumi reported because many people use Alton as an alternate route to the 55 Freeway.
