2 Charged In Thanksgiving Day Attack On Actor In Hollywood

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Prosecutors have charged two men with assault and other counts in connection with the Thanksgiving Day attack on an actor in Hollywood.

Dusan Lilic and Nikola Ilic pleaded not guilty Tuesday in the Nov. 27 attack on Corey Sligh that left the 27-year-old with a broken arm and other injuries.

The Los Angeles County district attorney's office said in a written statement that Sligh was struck by a vehicle and beaten in the parking lot of a store after he asked the defendants to stop driving recklessly.

Sligh, who has a recurring role on CBS' "The Young and the Restless," and his girlfriend were attempting to deliver a meal to a friend at the time.

"If convicted as charged, Lilic faces up to seven years in state prison, while Ilic faces a maximum four-year prison term," the statement indicated.

The case remains under investigation.
