2 Brothers Pepper-Sprayed During Home Invasion Robbery In Rowland Heights

ROWLAND HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — Two brothers were recovering Saturday after being pepper-sprayed by suspects during a home invasion robbery last night in Rowland Heights.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, deputies were sent around 7:40 p.m. to the 17800 block of Calle Barcelona for report of a robbery.

A preliminary investigation revealed that three suspects wearing ski masks forced entry by smashing a glass sliding door located in the back of the home.

Deputies explained the brothers, a juvenile and a 21-year-old, were upstairs when the suspects entered the home.

When they went downstairs to investigate the noise the suspects proceeded to pepper-spray them.

According to deputies, the suspects took off with about $300 in cash, an iPhone and jewelry.

The brothers were treated at the scene.

No description has been provided for the suspects.
