2 Arrested In Highland Vehicle Burglaries

HIGHLAND (CBSLA.com) — Detectives sought the public's help Thursday in identifying recovered property from several vehicle burglaries.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, officers from the Highland Police Department were sent on Jan. 10 to the 7200 block of Fletcher View for report of a vehicle burglary.

A male victim explained to officers on scene that an unknown suspect allegedly shattered the rear window of his vehicle, and stole property from inside, at some point during the night.

Police said a credit card was stolen and used by the suspects at a Wal-Mart in Moreno Valley before the victim was able to cancel the card.

Surveillance video at the store led officers to identify the suspect's vehicle.
