2 Arrested In Connection With Deadly Shooting In Pomona

POMONA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say two men suspected in a fatal gang-related shooting back in October were behind bars.

Pomona police said in a department statement that 23-year-old Israel Magana of Pomona and 27-year-old Natividad Gonzalez of Montclair were arrested on Friday in West Covina.

The statement says both men are suspected in the fatal shooting of Covan Brady.

Brady was fatally shot last year on Oct. 23, at the intersection of Holt Avenue and Paloma Drive in Pomona.

"This investigation revealed that both Magana and Gonzalez are Pomona Gang members and they targeted Victim Brady for activities he was involved in," according to the statement.

Anyone with information about this case is encouraged to call Pomona Police Detectives at (909) 620-2085.
