2 Armed Gunmen Rob OneUnited Bank In Pasadena

PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Two armed men reportedly robbed a bank in Pasadena Friday and were driven away by another suspect in a getaway car.

Around 11 a.m., two men walked into OneUnited Bank at 1335 North Lake Avenue wearing black ski masks and gloves, and armed with handguns, Pasadena police Lt. John Mercado said.

They reportedly demanded money from tellers and fled with an undisclosed sum.

Mercado said, "Witnesses outside the bank saw the suspects exit (the bank) and enter an older, small two-door sedan."

The driver had stayed in the car during the robbery.

The three were last seen driving south on Lake Avenue.

The gunmen were described as black, in their mid-20s and about 6 feet tall with thin builds. One wore a black hoodie and dark-colored pants and the other wore a white hoodie and light-colored pants, Mercado said.

Anyone with information about the suspects is urged to contact Pasadena police at (626) 744-4241.
