19 Airport Employees ID'd As Victims Of Possible Credit Card Breach At LAX Terminal

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say they're investigating reports that debit and credit card information has been taken from a terminal at Los Angeles International Airport.

Airport officials said in a statement that 19 victims have been identified so far, and all of them work at LAX.

According to the statement, the victims made purchases at restaurants and a retail store at the Tom Bradley International Terminal over the past several weeks.

"Credit card companies are reporting attempts have been made to use the stolen information for fraudulent purchases," the statement added.

Authorities believe there may be more victims. The Los Angeles Police Department and airport police are investigating.
