17-Year-Old Boy Stabbed To Death In East Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  — A 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death in East Los Angeles late on Friday night, sheriff's deputies said Saturday.

The stabbing was reported at 11:10 p.m. Friday in the 5000 block of  Whittier Boulevard, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

Deputies dispatched to the scene regarding a "person down" call found the teenager lying in the street suffering from a stab wound in the upper torso, said Navarro-Suarez.

Paramedics rushed the boy to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead, she said.
