30-Acre Brush Fire Burns In Laguna Niguel

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO (CBSLA.com) —  A slow-moving brush fire has been reported in Laguna Niguel Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

The fire as of 5 p.m. was at about 15 acres.

By 8:30 p.m., officials said the fire doubled in size.

Officials said the fire was burning near San Juan Capistrano and that no homes were immediately threatened.

Authorities said more than 90 firefighters are battling the blaze.

Sky2's Stu Mundel said firefighters are doing structure protection from ground and air.
