12-Year-Old Boy With Autism Missing Since Sunday Found Safe

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police say a 12-year-old boy with autism who has been missing since Sunday has been found safe

Kylan Smith was last seen in the 800 block of North Heliotrope Street at about 3 p.m. Sunday, according to Los Angeles police. He was found Monday in a Metro train by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, police said.

Police had sought the public's help to find Kylan and circulated his photo. Late Monday morning, police reported the boy had been found, and that he is OK.

No further details were released.
