$10K Reward Offered In South LA Murder

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A $10,000 reward was offered Tuesday for information in the murder of a man in South Los Angeles earlier this year.

Authorities say 39-year-old Tramel Kerl was sitting in his car in the 9900 block of Budlong Avenue at about 1:30 a.m. on Feb. 21 when he was fatally shot several times.

Witnesses at the time told deputies they saw several suspects walk up to the car, fire off several rounds and then walk away northbound on Budlong Avenue.

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors recently approved a $10,000 reward for information leading to a conviction in the case.

Anyone with information about Kerl's murder can contact the Sheriff's homicide bureau at (323) 890-5500.
