$100K In Stolen Electronics Recovered In Carson Theft Ring

CARSON (CBSLA.com) — Deputies have arrested  four suspects accused of running a theft ring involving more than $100,000 worth of high tech merchandise.

On Dec. 8, a large electronics warehouse in Carson reported several of the employees were stealing TVs, laptops and other expensive items from the company. the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

The suspect were then selling the items on Craigslist below market value.

"The electronics warehouse offered powerful evidence and identified multiple employees," authorities said.

Detectives served a search warrant Wednesday at three locations and recovered four new Samsung 'Curve' Large Screen High Definition TVs, 32 new Apple laptops computers sealed in their original boxes, 30 new Premium Outdoor Patio Furniture in their original boxes, 10 cases of Premium Professional Nail Polish, 15 cases of 'Beats' desk speakers, 10 boxes of miscellaneous TVs, audio equipment and thousands of dollars in cash, according to the LASD.

The names of the suspects were not released due to an ongoing investigation.
