10 Freeway closed after kidnapping suspect surrenders during Los Angeles police pursuit

The westbound 10 Freeway near Sawtelle closed after a pursuit suspect surrendered to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Officers said the driver was wanted for an alleged kidnapping but a victim was not located in the vehicle when the suspect surrendered.

The suspect's car appeared to catch on fire as traffic backed up.
